When our parents, Alfredo & Ana Maria Laborde, passed away, our family came together to plan the dispersal of their estate. The unanimous agreement was that from their estate we would form a foundation in order to continue their legacy of faith and giving, rooted in the importance of education. Thus, the Foundation was officially established in 2005. We support St. Philip of Jesus, which has served the South Side community since 1914. Our grandparents and parents were life-long dedicated members of this community. We grew up in the school there, and to this day, several of us still call St. Philip of Jesus our parish.

We are honored and blessed to have awarded more than $50,000 in scholarship money to qualifying students over the years.
